Visiting the Godwins.
Chroni-Sarah, the Godwins have invited you to dinner tonight. Let’s work on home work so we can leave soon. I asked your dad if it was ok that you go and he said yes. We soon finish homework and off to the Godwins we went.
The Godwins greeted me at the door with a hug and smile. Mrs. Godwin made a wonderful meal. We all sat down at the table and Mr. Godwin said grace. Sarah- Mrs. Godwin, you really can cook a wonderful meal. Mrs. Godwin- Thank you Sarah. I never forgot how to cook. I have done a lot of cooking in my life, and I love to cook. We do enjoy a good meal every now and then. We don’t have to eat to live but we do love the taste of food. Sarah- thanks so much for inviting me. Mr. Godwin- It is our pleasure Sarah. Mrs. Godwin- I felt bad that we didn’t have any food when you first visited. I had to make it up to you. I also have desert Blue berry cobbler. John- Yes my mother makes the best cobbler. The blue berries we grew ourselves. Sarah-Wow!!! I must be a special girl to eat your blue berry cobbler. Mrs. Godwin- Sarah everyone is special to God. Sarah- So tell me how did you guys become immortal? I know Jesus gave you communion, the real stuff but why did He make you immortal? And how can I get Him to make me Immortal. Mr. Godwin- It was by the grace of God that He did this Sarah. When you walk very close to God you can be granted this gift. It is even in the Bible. Enoch walked with God and never tasted death. Elijah also walked close to God and never tasted death. He went home in a fiery chariot. For us Godwins, God has chosen us to stay here and help the angels out and help human kind out. Sarah – wow!!! It would be wonderful to be immortal. I don’t like the ideal of aging and losing my youth. So what do you do for a living? Mrs. Godwin – I teach Sarah at a High school. Sarah- and you Mr. Godwin, what do you do for a living? Mr. Godwin- I am a counselor. I help people with their problems and how to think right. Sarah – So what do the kids do?
Kids – we home school and even train with the angels. We go on special missions with them. Sarah- Wow this is so cool. Soon dinner was over and Sarah, John, Mark and Sue went out to the woods to hang out. Sarah- Your family is so cool. I just wish I could be like you. John- I know but be happy in the season that you are in Sarah. For now God wants you to be mortal. Sue- Sarah, someday you will be immortal but you must be happy in the season that you are in like John said. If you don’t get immortality here on earth by drinking from Jesus then you will when you die and go to heaven. Either way someday you will be immortal. Sarah – Well I can’t wait. I don’t like the ideal of growing old and dying. Sue- you have a long time to worry about this Sarah. Just keep your eyes on Jesus and take one day at a time with Him.
Sarah- This can be hard sometimes but I know what you say is true Sue. I want so much to be like you guys. Your family is so perfect and whole.
Sue- No one is perfect Sarah only God is perfect.
Mark- Hey lets show Sarah our secret Cave.
Sue, and John- Sure.
So they go deeper into the wood until they come to a cave.
Mark- Our family owns this cave Sarah. Come inside. Mark turns on a flash light and even Sue and John have flash lights. They walked though the entrance of the cave and go deeper into the dark tunnel.
John-We want to show you our secret hide out. They seen come to a flowing stream with a bride going across. They cross over the bride and come to a big room of the cave. The cave is like a natural castle. It has a huge high ceiling with crystals hanging from the ceiling of the cave. There are beautiful marble walls of rock and in some places crystal sparkle from the cave.
John- This is like our secret place of worship Sarah. This is like our club house, our secret hiding place. We play here a lot when we were kids growing up.
Sarah- wow!!! It is all so beautiful.
Sue - Sarah Come into this room. We used to play house so many times in here.
This is like our pretend house. One room was the kitchen; Sarah could see where there was a pretend stove, sink and refrigerator. All carve from rock. Then the living room was a very warm place of stone furniture and a stone fire place and then the bedrooms were carved beds of stone and there was even a bathroom with running water. There was a hole in the rock that went down several feet that was the toilet and a steam that run into a small pool of water for the sink and even a larger pool of water for the bath tub. Sarah marveled at the Marble rock walls of the carve the sparkly diamond like Jews in the walls.
Sarah – Wow!!! This is all so very beautiful. It’s almost like a fairy land.
Sue – We used to play here a lot as kids.
Mark- We actual pretend to be like the flint stones and that we lived in dinosaur land.
Sarah – This is so neat. Do you think we could spend the night sometime?
Sue – Sure as long as it is ok with your dad.
Sarah smiles trying not to be so notice. She really did like Mark. He was so handsome, funny and sweet.
Walking though the woods she gets a bright ideal to asked Mark to the prom. After all Jesus and Chroni didn’t say which Mark she should ask. They only said ask Mark to the prom.
Sarah – Mark, the school prom is coming up. I would love for you to join me as my date.
Mark – It would be my pleasure Sarah to take a beautiful woman like you to the prom. I will make you feel like a princess.
Sarah – Wow!!! Mark you are so sweet.
Soon they were at the Godwin’s house and Chroni was waiting for Sarah.
Chroni – Your dad wants you home soon.
Sarah – Oh gee I was having so much fun Chroni, I could stay here forever. The Godwins laughed.
Soon Sarah is home. Her dad is in his study getting ready for Sunday’s sermon.
Sarah – Hi dad.
Dad – hi honey. Did you enjoy your dinner at the Godwin’s?
Sarah -Yes dad I did. I really like the Godwins. Next to my home here it feels like home there.
Dad smiled at her, I am glad that you find some new friends.
Sarah – yes and I have a date for the prom dad. I asked Mark to be my date and he said yes. Dad, I have a question. Jesus said I should date Mark but the Mark I asked is not the same Mark he was talking about. Do you think it is wrong that I asked Mark Godwin to go with me to the prom?
Dad- Are you sure he was talking about the other Mark and not Mark Godwin?
Sarah – I think he was talking about the Mark that goes to my school.
Dad – Honey you should be disobedient to Jesus. Ask Mark at school if he has a date or not. You need to be obedient when the Lord tells you to do something.
Sarah – Dad do you think it be wrong to have two dates.
Dad looked up at me and laughed. Sarah just see if Mark from school has a date.
The next day at school Sarah finds Mark and asked him if he had a date for the prom and he said that he did. Sarah was happy to know that Mark had a date and that she could date Mark Godwin.
The Prom
Soon the prom came and Mark shows up in a very nice car and knocks on Sarah’s door. Pastor Steve answers the door and invites Mark in. “You look so handsome” said Pastor Steve. Thank you said Mark. She will be done soon. Sarana and her mother were getting Sarah ready for the prom. Sarah looked like a princess in her purple dress. Soon she was ready and she came down stairs. Mark smiled. “Sarah you are so beautiful.” Rose her mother says lets take some pictures by the fire place. So both Pastor Steve and her snap away. They take pictures by the fire place, out side in the rose garden and soon it is time to go to the prom. On the way to the prom Mark takes Sarah to a very expensive restraint. Mark tells Sarah to order what ever she wants. Sarah feels out of place to order such expensive food but Mark smiles back and said order princess. Tonight you will eat like a princess. So she ordered lobster and many other wonderful dishes. Please tell me Mark how Jesus made you immortal. “Does it really matter Sarah how it happen” I suppose not but I like to know what happen please tell me?” Ok, Sarah I will. I was dying of scarlet fever. I was born in 1865. And it was 1887 when I came down with scarlet fever. I was very close to death when Jesus came to me. He gave me a drink of His blood and I have been young and healthy ever since.” What about the rest of your family. My family has been chosen to live forever on the earth. Each of my family members came down with different illness and Jesus came to each of them giving them eternal life. We need to go now so we won’t be late for the prom.
At the prom
Ever one admired the handsome, Mark Godwin. Mark was perfect in all his good looks. But most immortals are very handsome and beautiful. The girls could not keep their eyes off of him. They admire him so much that Sarah was worried that they would steal him away from her. She stayed close by him the whole night and even didn’t want to use the bath room for fear that one of the girls would steal him away. Mark reading her thoughts said,” Sarah, don’t worry, I am an old fashion church boy. I am faithful to my lady. I promise I won’t dance with anyone but you. Sarah felt better when Mark said that. You can go to the bath room and relax. I will be your partner and only your partner all night. The girls may look and stared all night but that is the only think they will be allow to do.” After Mark said this Sarah was able to relax more even laugh and joke with the other teens. More then anything Sarah enjoyed slow dancing with Mark and being close to his chest. There were many times during a slow dance that she laid her head on his chest and listen to his heart beat. He was a wonderful dancer. Mark told her how he used to go to lots of ball room dances. He even surprised her when it came to the fast songs. She didn’t think an old timer could dance to rock songs but Mark was a great dancer no matter what song or style of music played. Soon it was time to go home.
Mark took Sarah out for dessert then home.
Back Home
Mark and Sarah meet dad at the door and Mark kisses Sarah‘s hand and says goodbye. Dad asked Sarah if she had a good time and she says yes. She gets ready for bed. The next day the Godwin teens invite Sarah to go camping with them. She asked permission to go camping with the Godwin teens and dad agrees to let her go. She has a lovely time camping and the teens decided to walk some trials and on one of the trials Sarah is biting by a copperhead. Mark tries to suck the victim out of Sarah and to a point it helps. He carries her back to his house and calls her dad. By then Sarah is in a coma.
In a Coma
Sarah finds herself in the time of Jesus. There is a mob ob people yelling crucify Him. She realizes that she has time travel to the time of Christ. She joins the crowd that yells not to crucify Him. She wants so much to get to Jesus and stop what ever the soldiers are doing. She pushes herself though the crowd and it is a fight to get though the crowd. When she does manager to get though the crowds Roman solider stops her. She cries please let me see Jesus. She hears the crack of the whips that go across Jesus back. She sees Jesus covered in blood from His head to His feet. He is carrying a cross and she sees the stress on Jesus face. She tries even harder to get to Jesus but the Roman solider pushes her back. She isn’t the only one trying to break though the crowd to save Jesus. Jesus out of tiredness falls to the ground dropping the cross. It is has if time froze. Everyone becomes still but except her and Jesus. She is able to get to Jesus. She runs to Jesus falling down in front of Him with tears in her eyes. “Jesus what have they done to you,” said Sarah with tears in her eyes. Jesus looked at her with stress and compassion. “Please don’t let them crucify you, Jesus. I love you and I don’t want you to die,” said Sarah. She throws her arms around Him. Jesus was bleeding so heavy and the blood began to cover Sarah from her head to her toes. Sarah was soaked in Jesus blood as she wept laying her head on Jesus chest. She wrapped His arms around her holding her close to His chest. “Do not dry Sarah, for this will soon pass and there will be joy again. There is much grieve when a mother is in labor but when the child is born there is joy. I am laying my life down for you and all your love ones so that they can be born again.” He managed to smile at her though His weakness. Jesus then said to her drink from Me Sarah and you will live. You will have eternal life like the Godwins.” Sarah looked a little uncomfortable and surprise. “You really want me to drink your blood?” “Yes, said Jesus, for my blood is real drink and my flesh is real food. Drink from Me if you want to live and not die.” Sarah began licking the blood off of Jesus chest, she began to suck the blood from Jesus chest. She began to drink as if she was a hungry infant nursing at her mother’s breasts. Jesus only held her and comfort her as she drink. She then began to kiss Him and lick the blood off His face. She began to feel renewed and satisfy then it seemed that time came back to life and strong hands pulled her away from Jesus. She screamed and fight the Roman soldiers holding on to Jesus for dear life. Jesus looked into Sarah’s eyes and said,”It is ok little one; you must not interfere with time and history. It is ok to let go of Me, my presences will always be with you. She still did not want to let go of Him as the Roman whips came down on His back. Girl if you don’t let go, we will beat you said the Roman soldier. Jesus only shielded her and protected her. Let the girl go if you don’t want more of these whips. Jesus let Sarah go but she still held on. Jesus looked at her in pain. “Sarah you are only making this worst for
